In the post ‘Use of Now’ I had averred that parallel worlds shall be an illusion if the present world is not taken care of. Let me explain.
When God created man according to the Hebraic tradition He gave Adam, a physical body. A physical being was in fitness of things considering He took the trouble of making a world fit for him to live. Male and female He created them. Had he purposed their world purely as spiritual beings there would be no sense in going through all the trouble of setting out a Garden. Would it not? A body is natural for a visible universe as much as every animate and inanimate object has a recognizable form. By the same line of reasoning when God the Son became a man he put on a body.
Among Talmud scholars Shekina glory of God is a female principle. We read that God breathed his spirit into man: it symbolizes man was given a spiritual attribute of Himself. He is not made of His substance as Christ was but given its foretaste. Creating Eve out of his body merely explains Eve, the Mother all mankind is,in one sense, a symbol. She was Adam’s helpmeet his spiritual counterpart. God didn’t choose to fashion her out of the dust as Adam was. Adam thus is one aspect of two worlds: physical and spiritual worlds.
God breathed into man and since then our physical beings cast shadows that speak something of our spiritual lives as well.
Holy Spirit has been given as our guide, comforter as Eve was given to Adam to be his.

From my reading of the Bible my understanding is that man must first make his calling and election sure before he is entrusted with a world hereafter.
Merely because I have a body doesn’t make me a responsible being. Do I have head over my shoulders? Do I make correct choices while in my body? Saying Christ is my head and being swept willy-nilly by fashions of the world and conducting myself contrary to Christian virtues shall not do. While in my body I need to integrate my two worlds as one.
Soul integrates our physical and spiritual worlds.
