In that night the tree came down with a splash and the Monkey happily clambered over the mighty tree that lay athwart the river. The monkey thought the lumberjack was not only unfriendly but a fool as well. He didn’t use the guideline properly thus making it fall right across the river.

Next morning the monkey found out that there were a pair of crocodiles living on the sandy bank. He noticed they were guarding their bank of eggs left buried in the moist earth.
The monkey knew a way to pay back the lumberjack for his unfriendliness. He ran back to the tent where the lumberjack was cursing his bad luck. He said he found a treasure trove freshly buried
near his new home. The lumberjack followed him directly to the other side of the river.( 2 b cont’d)
