HPV Vaccinations Lower Infection Rate Even Among Unvaccinated Women

The old adage strength lies in numbers is once again affirmed by
recent findings in HPV. The human papillomavirus vaccine (HPV) provides a benefit to women even if they are not vaccinated, via a phenomenon known as “herd immunity,” a new study suggests.
Among the women in the study, there was a decrease in the percentage who were infected with the four HPV strains included in the vaccine (HPV 6, 11, 16, and 18) in the years after the vaccine was introduced, compared with earlier years.
This decrease in HPV prevalence was seen among both vaccinated and unvaccinated women, the researchers said.
The study researcher Dr. Jessica Kahn noted that one in four unvaccinated participants in the study was infected with a high-risk strain of HPV. Dr. Kahn is a physician of adolescent medicine at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. She said, ‘ a woman can also protect her partner by getting vaccinated.’
The study was conducted in just one community of mainly African American women and further research is needed to confirm the results and see if the findings apply to the population as a whole.(LiveScience.com of 9 July,2012)
So individuals in context of others do hold some value. Especially if they have been vaccinated with the high-risk strain of ‘carpe diem.’ This infectious strain to live to the present and to be result oriented not only lifts the vaccinated man and woman but also society.
One plus one is not two in terms of non-translatable hidden power. Synergy of community is not merely counting of heads. It transcends arithmetic. I had in my post The Golden Pagoda discussed of this energy. An individual thus knows much beyond his actual experience. Power of this has been evident clearly by results, how nations had on the basis of liberal principles and with a positive frame of mind could develop from becoming stagnated under bogeys of medieval mindset.
If you are not convinced look around. On one side we have the news of woman being summarily executed. The fellows who beheaded ‘Najeeba’ to the applauding crowd of men are symptom of a deep-rooted malaise of religion. (This is herd mentality that drags each other into deeper levels of barbarity.)
On the other hand we have the Catholic Church. Their covert operations never cease to amaze me. Here is a new one.’The public prosecutor in the Dutch city of Roermond reports that Andreas, who belonged to a congregation called the Brothers of the Holy Joseph, put the permanently bedridden boys to death one by one, shortly after they arrived at the home between 1952 and 1954.Multiple deaths at boys’ home were no accident. source of the news:

One With Nature

‘Dust to dust and ashes to ashes’ in our common prayer book reiterates the Principle of self- similarity. Nature creates such myriad forms of life, and also gathers up as one substance in which matter is a shade of meaning of synergy.

Light can be both particle and wave. Material aspect of life has similar property where soul as well matter is subject to the imperative of Oneness. Synergy or oneness is the House Rule in the Golden Pagoda and as such all life forms come under the rule. Self-similarity draws it power from it.
A principle defined as the basis for any action and in the case of the Golden Pagoda its definition need to be seen as the ultimate basis.

In order to explain the Principle of Self-similarity the example of the Natilus shell will be useful. Nature lays out its biomechanical limits for life-forms as an engineer would calculate stresses and strength of individual structural members of a bridge or a building and also provide a margin of safety to accommodate most eventualities required.
The Nautilus is a cephalopod, a mollusk that pumps gas into its spiral chambered shell to adjust it buoyancy. The ratio is of each spirals diameter to the next smaller spiral. This ratio is called The Golden ratio, The Divine Proportion, It is equal to PHI = 1.618
Ability of the life forms to rely on basic rules of survival from the self same forces that make Nature creative means each is in conformity with the general principle of the Golden Pagoda. Can the creature tell the creating synergy that ‘I do not believe in whatever is directing your hand?’ Self-similarity is the efficient and aesthetically pleasing outcome of any matter in cosmos. The beauty of a snowflake is no less than the efficiency of a nautilus where both form and function are spliced together as one. In a multi-cellular organism say man sophistication of this self-similarity will naturally vary. Principle is the same. Moral sense of a man who adjusts his own conduct to benefit the maximum is similar to a lion hunting in pairs so their success of rate is higher. Altruism may be guided by selfishness but in furthering chances of others in the group the animals have drawn their lesson the principle of self-similarity.
Man who conforms to the norms of the society may be seeking safety but what value does he ascribe to his soul? He needs to get his act right don’t you think?

Of Kings and Cabbages

I hope I shall not stray from the point I want to make here. Suppose one has made an inventory of Picasso’s entire output and accounted for every day and circumstances in which he lived it would give us an insight into his life, the man his art. Would it not? Even so the real Pablo Ruiz Picasso shall remain less than the True. The point is that the physical man is only one aspect. His genius of course is drawn from the synergy that is incident on the natural Man. Even so it is not all there is to the man.
Synergy of the Golden Pagoda touched Picasso and the stuttering English Mathematics Don,- Lewis Carroll differently. Their works are even now followed as though they are alive. Lewis Carroll shall be remembered through his Alice series even after some 150 years.
Man has a physical and an abstract side the latter you may say a spiritual side or a thinking side according to your persuasion.
Essence of a man is not in either but somewhere between and betwixt. It is his true signature, the mass that gives him his place in Cosmos.
This is defined as soul.
It is like the very private rainbow of the previous post, It is not the white light or synergy within the Golden Pagoda but how it is dispersed according to the position you hold within the Pagoda.
Genius of Picasso and Carroll holds different shades of meaning and significance to us. The latter wrote some abstruse books on Mathematics apart from children’s classics. Alice is read by both old and the young alike. So a man cannot be mechanically constructed as a painting by numbers. The golden Pagoda is the free masonry of all life forms where Soul gives man a certain level of knowledge as in the case of Free Masonry.

Here is a Puzzling Thought
Rapid eye movement sleep (REM sleep) is a normal stage of sleep characterized by the random movement of the eyes. If we are asleep why move eyes at all? Perhaps the answer may lie in the manner we explain the nature of consciousness. During REM, the activity of the brain’s neurons is quite similar to that during waking hours; for this reason, the REM-sleep stage may be called paradoxical sleep. Here we have consciousness of the wakeful state and a ‘virtual’ consciousness of the sleep phase. Physiology shows same pattern of neurons sent by the brain.
In the Cosmic Mind within the Golden Pagoda dreams are like the scum that flows along the streaming of Consciousness of the Cosmic Mind. Bizarre shapes clocks without hands and slicing of sausages, or falling of tooth are all Nature’s way of interpreting the Mind for the individual. In similar fashion prophets see visions and the individuals consult those whom they think are gifted to interpret dreams.

The Golden Pagoda-conclusion

Let me recall the analogy of three equilateral triangles used in a previous post. Synergy of wisdom and power animates life forms according to laws of Nature. When we discuss Oneness within this Pagoda it is synergy meant here. Synergy or Cosmic Mind can define forms as well as give the relationships between species and space, a certain unity.
There is no such thing as mind as brain as a part of physical body. Cosmic Mind has no need of form but can add to physical form a certain consciousness. One will notice within the Golden Pagoda, form and function are all endowed with a certain similarity that cannot be merely an accident.
Let me give an an example of our Milky Way. A nebulous gaseous cloud tends to form a spiral shape with arms. A double spiral in a DNA defines order: material nature expressed by a form as distinct from another.
When cream is poured into a stirred cup of coffee shows up a striking resemblance to galaxies with outer parts of arms trailing around its centre. Is it merely a coincidence or does it speak of an order?
Spiral is a common shape in nature. It occurs in a pine- cone, sunflower and in shells of marine organisms. For example: nautilus. Totally different spirals can be modeled mathematically: one feature whether enlarged or smaller doesn’t change the basic character of a spiral.
Coiled continually like a watch spring, a spring is as much a spiral as the threads of a screw that is a helix. In a helix there is a relationship between radius and pitch: you may shorten the pitch but radius is fixed. In a two-dimensional spiral distance between spirals is the same.
In a material universe material nature expresses Oneness in the way a form defines relationships. A spiral demonstrates it; so shall two hydrogen molecules with one molecule of oxygen. In such a relation the form collapses. Instead water is formed.
Cosmic Mind is to be understood as the all pervasive interplay of wisdom and power at any plane within this Pagoda.
In the system of three equilateral triangles one may consider creating frustums* anywhere, which would be dimensions that touch the three sides. (*The part of a solid, such as a cone or pyramid, between two parallel planes cutting the solid, especially the section between the base and a plane parallel to the base.)
Man can only make sense of four dimensions. Cannot the Cosmic Mind without a form so to speak create anywhere a frustum that may give man who sees in the Immensities the form he is comfortable with? If St. Paul is talking about being taken to the third heavens the form was set out by Cosmic Mind, which requires no form for itself. By the same token Prophet Ezekiel Muhammad or Moses might see the Highest each according to his mind’s bent and inclination.
The Mind that can deal Wisdom and Power to each life form does not ask account but in the way it shall affect its own progress it is predetermined.
Moral sense of the Mind is formless but every life form gives it a definite shape in the way it rewrites the entire cosmos in a new way.The signature of God or whatever name one may give it is in all and through all.

The Golden Pagoda

Leonardo da Vinci’s drawing of a male figure perfectly inscribed in a circle and square, known as the “Vitruvian Man,” illustrates what he believed to be a divine connection between the human form and the universe. It is a symbol and it has power as a catchy slogan that one cannot help humming though it has no other merit. The jingle has taken over even though the point is lost.
An image is worth thousand words to paraphrase a Chinese proverb. Here I have given a model to explain synergy.
(Let me at the outset caution the Golden Pagoda model is merely a symbol, to illustrate possible manner Nature could translate the Absolute values in letting each life form develop.)
Da Vinci encapsulated a homocentric universe with circle and square.

In the case of the Golden Pagoda synergy of Nature gives us some foreknowledge and power to act.
Suppose three equilateral triangles are connected to one another would it not enclose space the fourth triangle by the courtesy of all other three triangles? This fourth face is signified as Nature. Consequently synergy of the three triangles is not merely the sum of individual parts. This is the Golden Pagoda where each side may be signified by characteristics that has a bearing on the fourth free side. Thus I may denote our reality is teased out of the three faces. Our reality finite in nature, is bound by ultimate reality ( Wisdom, Power and Will) and as the Preacher would describe our transient world is Vanity.
In a manner of speaking the concept of God is as beautiful as a mathematical equation. It cannot fail under any condition. Two plus two is four. Whereas synergy of the three triangles is not merely the sum of individual parts. As a Christian I see Nature occupying the fourth triangle where the Trinity supplies the three sides which hold Absolute value.
The point is that synergy by which each species further its biological imperative is drawn from the space enclosed,- Cosmos. As in the analogy of Golden Pagoda every life form in nature works with the characteristics that are beyond all comprehension.

Recapitulation
Within such a Cosmos, to continue with the Golden Pagoda synergy of the fourth side is drawn from the other three absolute values acting as One System. The article we call conscience or moral imperative depends upon the way we consciously focus on our place in the scheme of things. Centre of gravity or the mass where our thoughts, emotions, will and action gravitate determine our essence.
Life requires mass as matter requires a booster shot to give it some stability. Is it Higgs boson particle? The Higgs mechanism proposes that there is a field permeating the Universe – the Higgs field – that allows particles to obtain their mass. Interactions with the field – with the Higgs bosons that come from it are purported to give particles mass. But is it God?
Without mass the working of universe would be unpredictable and chaos would be the result. Physical laws would be playing ducks and drakes with time and space. Suppose life is created in the lab artificially. Do you suppose the life form can deny the physical laws from making a claim on him? Surely within Cosmos life must bear the fingerprints of Wisdom and Power. Nature of the form must trade off with laws of Nature.

Nation or individual?

It was Adolf Hitler who once posed the question: “What is life?” He himself answered it thus:”Life is the nation.The individual is the nation. The individual must die anyway. Beyond the life of the individual is the Nation.”( Shirer:The Rise and fall of the Third Reich. p.933) I owe this article to Wm. Shirer’s excellent analysis of the Collapse of the Third Republic.
Individuals make up the nation and a House divided itself cannot last. So individuals do matter. Which is more important? a chicken or the egg? Or the city or a citizen? There is nothing that can stand by itself as far as anything that is organized to serve a purpose. Man makes the city and is in turn changed by it. One need only visit a city like New York to see the frenetic pace that keeps her denizens moving about. Whereas if I were to set the same pace in a place like Perar, a village in the Hills, Tamil Nadu, India I would be viewed by the locals as one wanting in intelligence. Man exudes a certain energy level, call it his intrinsic worth and when it connected with another it raises him to an altogether level. One only needs to watch a young man trying to interest a young woman. Seen how their making out hits an altogether new patch when another young man appears in the scene?In short synergy of an individual is infectious and it makes all provide their own and lo, the rules of the game will be changed once and for all. A New Yorker if he were to go back to his roots say a hick town will he not feel out of place? He has given his energy for a common purpose and has benefited from the common pool so much that he is changed forever.
The Nation is set up by so many individuals who may be migrant workers, citizens and ethnic groups absorbed into the mainstream for the development,maintenance and support of the Nation. No matter a Nation is doomed in the long run if these bodies of individuals are divided and pressed down by laws that are aimed to protect a a particular group.

News on the March-UFOs

Thoughts on Moscow Cloud
In what seems a rerun of Independence Day, a pale gold halo was observed over the Russian capital city’s Western Dt. on  last Wednesday. Meteorologists have concluded it as an optical effect, ‘Several fronts have been passing through Moscow recently, there was an intrusion of the Arctic air too, the sun was shining from the west – this is how the effect was produced.’
We always want a logical explanation from what phenomenon say a rainbow or twister we see. But can we always reduce everything into cut and dried; or put away into pigeon holes? Flashing lights noticed in the sky or any other just because defied a simple explanation gave rise to far more bizarre ideas: UFO, alien abduction etc. We have never for once unearthed a foolproof evidence to support these.
There are two groups of people when it comes to the idea of exobiology or life on other planets. On one hand we do not accept the progress we as species achieved on our collective endeavors. This group cannot imagine man could achieve worthwhile since he is merely a cut above his ape ancestors. So his achievements owe to active help from some super-intelligent Aliens. Number of books have been written and lapped up by so many. Why so? We want to believe in something. OK pyramids are Alien- made to house men who, as X-rays reveal, were merely pharaohs in name and suffered from TB, Marfan’s syndrome,  bad teeth and so on.

Rest of us fall in the other group that foresees conquering other worlds and colonizing these. Here also I see wishful thinking overtaking good sense. We haven’t conquered ourselves or our silliness. Who shall hand over kingdoms to us, some microbes or Aliens? Despite my skepticism we may still learn to reach outer planets by some technological marvel. But would we behave as gods or as men? My skepticism opts for the latter. We may even learn to become robots. That reminds me of a fellow who was sent by his father do medicine and ended up as a butcher’s assistant in some meat packing factory.

We, coming to think of it, are funny creatures. The more chance we have to be rightly informed in this internet age, we are dying from misinformation. A symptom of this is the number of conspiracy theories we have to wade through at every turn.

Strength of two individuals coming together produces synergy and it grows exponentially. Thus one plus one is numerically two. But what they can achieve is however of a different league.
Having said the above in the interplay of several nations, tribes, individuals what is run off is progress, which is unlike anything that existed before. Somewhat like Moscow Cloud.
