By terrible things in righteousness wilt thou answer us, O God of our salvation; (v.5)”

Power and Wisdom of God is such that man may guess His ways and for those who trust in shall follow the path He lays out for them. He is a Good Shepherd and rightly so since He sent his only begotten Son whose ministry was that of a shepherd. His word has gone forth to far corners of the earth and many nations are all part of the righteousness of God. Jesus Christ as the Good Shepherd by law of Gradation has set many shepherds for his flock. As he is the head many nations are brought to an unity where Christ is all in all and through all. It is what the glory of God as expressed. His word has made the earth as his field produce a bumper crop. So what…

O thou that hearest prayer, unto thee shall all flesh come (v.2)”

Quality of the glory of God is revealing in nature. It is what Power principle in godhead signifies. God revealed Himself as looking in a looking glass before He caused the earth to have a form and consequently yield abundance from the glory shed abroad. (a day is God’s time). It is how the Spirit has narrated the setting out the creation of the heaven and the earth.”Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them(Ro.1:19)” what does it tell us? Is it not that spiritual discernment an indivisible quality of the earth?

Truth written in our inward parts is not cobbled up as a philosophy according to the wisdom of man. It leaves man without excuse. God revealed His glory and it is what could…

“They also that dwell in the uttermost parts are afraid at thy tokens: thou makest the outgoings of the morning and evening to rejoice (v.8)”.

The whole earth is included here. Glory of God is indicative of providence mercy and truth with which His creatures rejoice continually.

“O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him(Ps.34:8)” How do we say God is good but by experience of this goodness, is it not? “My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness; and my mouth shall praise thee with joyful lips:(63:5)” This experience does not come cheap. It is a crown of glory and of life for which God the Father did not spare His Son. Token of God’s loving kindness is also demonstrated by the earth and heaven so God in purging them of ungodliness creates them new.

Who is the enemy but who stands athwart in our meditations? There are so many distractions which serve to vitiate the power of our daily walks with God. Communing with all our heart is like uploading our spiritual batteries.

The enemy would want us ineffectual. Our daily walks make truth in our inward parts stand out sharper. The Word of God is one such. “For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart(He.4:12)”. Our inner world is not completely insulated and as with two worlds each world throws light about one another. We are colored by sensory inputs and when the serpent beguiled Eve it was by directing her attention to her senses. It is like…

Meditations, which we have till now discussed is specifically carried on between two worlds. Our inner and visible worlds we can never say where one ends or begins. We are conscious of external world as well as conscious of our thoughts and emotions. In order to specify what I have seen is by none other than myself we have a term as distinct from soul.  In this psalm we have David giving soul all the characteristics of the other self. ” My soul thirsteth for thee in verse 1 for example. Upon closer reading it doubles for his body “My flesh longeth for thee.”  Truth in my heart places both as one about me. In short my meditations pick and choose from both worlds so when the king says, ‘but the mouth of them that speak lies shall be stopped’ he is squarely relying on truth as his…

There are two kinds of banners mentioned in the Bible. One is raised by man and it is war-like and the other is in the sense of heraldry.

“And he will lift up an ensign to the nations from far, and will hiss unto them from the end of the earth: and, behold, they shall come with speed swiftly:(Is.5:26-30). The next verse also refers to it and serves as a commentary. “And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD’S house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it(Is.2:2). This ensign is more a sign which points to something else. It speaks of New Jerusalem, the holy city of God. The New Earth is in conjunction with this sign raised aloft. “My house will be called a house…

The Parable of the Wedding of the King’s Son in the gospel of St Matthew 22 speaks about the universal call of a certain king. There is an order in the manner invitations were sent out. He ‘sent forth his servants to call them that were bidden to the wedding: and they would not come.’ Again invitations were sent out, and ‘ servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good: and the wedding was furnished with guests.’

Salvation Plan of God is universal in scope.  The servants of the king were to call them saying,” Behold, I have prepared my dinner: my oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready: come unto the marriage./ But they made light of it, and went their ways, one to his farm, another to his merchandise:/And the remnant…
