Fulness of God has a Body:”(The Son) Who is the image of the invisible God,(v.15) God the Father as the Father of lights establishes Father Son relationship in terms of light. It is for this reason the Spirit in organizing the Bible delineates the Son as the true Light. In this context consider how Paul renders God as “Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting. Amen(1 Ti.6:16)”. This invisibility is on account of difference of a physical being and spirit. God is a Spirit.”Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God(John 3:3)”.

Body of man is earthy which is not the Body that is deemed heavenly. ‘Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice…

Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God;

Here the word ‘fulfill the word of God’ is significant. Jesus delivered the Gospel of God as the Word made flesh. He dwelt among us as Apostle John testified. We shall examine it in entirety: “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth(John 1:14). This Word existed always and the fellowship of God with Man (1:1) is not about any man but the Son of God. The everlasting covenant for this reason is nothing about the animal sacrifices stipulated in the Law of Moses. It is true these were shadow of the Body “For the law having a shadow of good things to…

What is the mystery of God in simple terms? It s Christ in you, the hope of glory: We shall come back to the glory aspect and instead focus on ‘Christ in us.’ Without Christ in us we cannot have the fulness of him or enter into the kingdom of the Son. It is this fulness of the risen Christ renders everything about us undergo a complete change. Though our sins were as scarlet His peace offering on the cross made God the Father receive us in him.As we read in v.20 ‘whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven’ as new creation what is our standing? We are set down ‘in heavenly places’ and our lives are hid in Christ. So in divine Will of the Father we were called and our election is also assured if we remain in faith so when ‘When Christ,

Key Text: Je.3:14-24

When we speak of restoration we are to understand that we are brought back into the divine Will as was before the worlds began. This is to be spiritually discerned. In the epistle to the Hebrews the writer argues that when Abraham gave tithes to the King of Salem Patriarch Levi was yet in his loins. It is how the Spirit explains time aspect of people in terms of the everlasting covenant. God’s promises to Israel and the laws of Moses by the same rationale can be traced back to the Lord Almighty. The Father-Son relationship is not anything apart from the covenant signifying this Name. Our Father which art in heaven so begins the Lord’s Prayer what the Son has taught us..

‘…He hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world..(Ep.1:4)’ is yet another. God is a Spirit. The earth was void and without form so what home we consider is to be spiritually understood, and in order to locate it we only need to consider the verse: ‘The Spirit of God moving upon the face of the waters (Ge.1:2b).’ Simply put we all were part of the divine Will. But sin has made it impossible for us to go back without help.

Soul is a term a spiritual tag indication of spiritual self as distinct from our physical selves.

Apostle Peter refers to the above in this verse,”but now you have returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls (1 Pe.2:25)”. How do we say what goes beyond our physical realities but by soul? Jesus taught us whom to fear. “And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell(Matt.10:28)”.
Our true state is indicated by soul. In other words it provides a compass to aid us if ever we are earnest about it.

Consider the metaphor of sheep. We all have been led forth from our pen by the Shepherd and we have a home to go it. How we got lost and strayed this far owes to our fallen state, It is where we have been brought over to the precipice of destruction by foolish shepherds, of whom Prophet Isaiah characterized as ‘they all look to their own way, every one for his gain…(Is.56:11)” Restoration is when we can say “O LORD our God, other lords beside thee have had dominion over us: but by thee only will we make mention of thy name (Is.26:13)”. In order to arrive there we have to realize how far we have fallen. “All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way….(Is.53:6). We can never find our way by our own strength or merits. It is where we find in the word of God of Jesus Christ as the Good Shepherd. “….And the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all”. So salvation must precede restoration. Eternal salvation in the divine Will has been fulfilled and we must submit ourselves to Jesus the Good Shepherd to lead us home. ‘I am the Way’. He is Truth and also life.

‘The Lord is my Shepherd’ truly speaks of finding way home in terms of the divine Will to which what our Good Shepherd has achieved is restoration in true sense. I and my Father are one (John10:30)”. What is divine Will? It is Power and Wisdom of the Almighty God. The manner our sins have been blotted out and remembered no more is how the Spirit explains divine Power. “For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more(He,8:12;Is.43:25)”.

We saw how the Spirit places the events on the earth in terms of people, places and events in terms of God’s Time. So prophecies are not merely restricted to Israel or Judah but to the everlasting covenant so earth and new earth are indicative of restoration. Here below Jeremiah speaks of restoring the fortunes of Judah and Israel and consequently draws us to the end times. Earlier during the study of Isaiah we had discussed the new earth where there shall be no more sacrifices as old. It is the House of Prayer for all nations, as evidenced by v.16. “And it shall come to pass, when ye be multiplied and increased in the land, in those days, saith the Lord, they shall say no more, The ark of the covenant of the Lord: neither shall it come to mind: neither shall they remember it; neither shall they visit it; neither shall that be done any more” .

Turn, O backsliding children, saith the Lord; for I am married unto you: and I will take you one of a city, and two of a family, and I will bring you to Zion:

15 And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.

16 And it shall come to pass, when ye be multiplied and increased in the land, in those days, saith the Lord, they shall say no more, The ark of the covenant of the Lord: neither shall it come to mind: neither shall they remember it; neither shall they visit it; neither shall that be done any more.

17 At that time they shall call Jerusalem the throne of the Lord; and all the nations shall be gathered unto it, to the name of the Lord, to Jerusalem: neither shall they walk any more after the imagination of their evil heart.

18 In those days the house of Judah shall walk with the house of Israel, and they shall come together out of the land of the north to the land that I have given for an inheritance unto your fathers.

19 But I said, How shall I put thee among the children, and give thee a pleasant land, a goodly heritage of the hosts of nations? and I said, Thou shalt call me, My father; and shalt not turn away from me.

20 Surely as a wife treacherously departeth from her husband, so have ye dealt treacherously with me, O house of Israel, saith the Lord.

21 A voice was heard upon the high places, weeping and supplications of the children of Israel: for they have perverted their way, and they have forgotten the Lord their God.

22 Return, ye backsliding children, and I will heal your backslidings. Behold, we come unto thee; for thou art the Lord our God.

23 Truly in vain is salvation hoped for from the hills, and from the multitude of mountains: truly in the Lord our God is the salvation of Israel.

24 For shame hath devoured the labour of our fathers from our youth; their flocks and their herds, their sons and their daughters.

25 We lie down in our shame, and our confusion covereth us: for we have sinned against the Lord our God, we and our fathers, from our youth even unto this day, and have not obeyed the voice of the Lord our God.

I have published New Millennium: in praise of folly and is available through Amazon.com. Both paperback and as e book in kindle format shall be available.

It is sum total of my life experience and ideas are original and supported by facts.

Let me explain what it is all about.

The present work explores man and his world in the new millennium. Man being a social animal what made him separate from his ape cousins? Bipedalism or was it sheer ignorance of the perils he faced in an uncharted territory as savannah? Having come this far, what the author has collated his findings, which like the proverbial curate’s egg are wonderful in parts and bad in other. Tool making capacity of man for instance made the earth a global village. Is it not wonderful?

The Age of Internet is where social media platforms are competing to disseminate news. Fake news however has come like worm in the apple of his ingenuity. Information overload is not as bad as conspiracy theories that travel faster than his ability to digest them. What worth are news that do not add up as machines that fail? Airplanes shrunk the earth, but two fatal crashes one after the other does throw up a serious identity crisis: image problem of Boeing or Facebook is nothing comparable. Foresight of man and his hindsight do not match. He ushered the nuclear age and his excuse was to stop a global war. Now the world is sure to end in a nuclear holocaust or end up as a planet plastic.

Being fruitful can only be in Christ. It is Christian Living in a nutshell. You die to the world in order to be in Christ. So your life draws is life force from the risen Christ whose fulness fills all in all and through all. This is shown in a vivid illustration of Vine and the branches,”I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing(John 15:5). No more going back to former mode of living, no more genuflecting before false idols greed concupiscence and such. “And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them (Ep.5:11)” Anyone in Christ is a new creation so we ought to change how we used to view things before and after have become many members of the Body of…

What does predestination mean?

This epistle to the Philippians is marked by hortatory exposition, a style that sits natural with St Paul since he is sure of not being taken amiss by his audience. The Church at Philippi was planted by him and there were many whom he knew by face. So he could call by name Euodias, and Syntyche to get their act together in humility considering they were drawing on grace from the same source,- and partakers of grace was altogether a new ball game to use an expression. It was the mind of Christ that was in question to which their differences in ego or doctrinal were nothing considering it was more essential to be of the same mind in the Lord. The gospel of Paul would have been non-starter if the Spirit had not separated him for carrying the Gospel of Christ to Greece. In his obedience to defer his…

If there was one who was born to trouble it was David. He had made enemies too powerful for him to beat back but God came to his help. So when he says he trusts in God it is what life experience of a child of God signifies,-and it collates of all saints before him and it shall be so true for other saints yet to come. All these are connected since we are considering fellowship of God with man in His Time. He omnipresent, eternal and immutable. The reason is simple. “For I am the Lord, I change not;(Mal.3:6)”, So trust is the DNA and natural for man. Does this seem strange?

God is Love and when we examine the nature of predestination  it becomes very clear His goodness is bound with His creative Spirit. At the end of each day He saw it was good. working with…

How do we make a difference between children of light and children of wrath? A tree is known by its fruits. Nature comes to our help and God has His ways to use them to instruct us, increase our faith as well as put to shame. When one looks at the diligence with which the ants labour is it not an indictment of the sluggard. Tree of knowledge of good and evil along with the tree of life designated as trees of righteousness are two book ends of Core Will of God. In short symbolism of the Spirit is meant to sharpen our understanding of the Righteousness .

“Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?(Matt.7:16). Isaiah was referring to the nation of Israel in his Song of the Vineyard. “What could have been done more to my vineyard, that…

The Holy Spirit in organizing the Bible as instruction in Righteousness uses perfection of the Word as the medium of Instruction. So what Scripture is but God document in which Jesus Christ is the true Light. On that basis the Spirit sets tone from v.3 of the Book of Genesis where separation of light from darkness gives the earth and heaven,  the kingdom of God to which glory of God is set as the evidence of the Father Son relationship. God the Father of lights ‘Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;/ Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right…
