When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.

In order to understand the first aspect in ‘Christ is all, and in all(v.11)’ we shall consider glory which he represents: glory of his being, of his Word and the glory of his creation.

By way of introduction what do we mean by glory here. By definition glory here is associated with God for example the Lord God is good; naturally this goodness is associated with what is patently created by his Power and Wisdom. Glory of God is defined as the nature of God in operation. Thus the earth is good. “And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good(Ge.1:10)”. If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.

Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.

For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.

There are many hiding places mentioned in the Bible. But for our present purpose we shall consider two instances of which we shall take up Psalm 91 :1-10

God has secret places where He knows his saints shall abide. Their prayer lives are like sweet savour as God smelled a sweet savour of Noah’s offerings(Ge.8:21).
