“The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath./Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the Sabbath.(Mark 2:27-28) So what does Sabbath really mean?

First reference to it comes at the end of the creation account. The first day, second day and so on, and is not about a week, an error commonly made by Christians everywhere. It is about a day, the day appointed for the Son. God sent the Son as the Word become flesh, so the significance of Sabbath can only be understood from the ministry of reconciliation of Jesus Christ. “By him all things consist” makes the day, which God sanctified on the day seven is subservient to the position of the Son. He is the Lord of Sabbath. Day is sanctified by the word of truth.(John17:17)

Sabbath is rest to which He has entered. It is in pluperfect indicating His Will has already settled the Salvation Plan in his core Will. “And he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.(Ge.2:2)”. “On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you (John 14:20-NIV)”. God exhorts us to reverence His sanctuary.

Abiding in Christ therefore is the Sabbath that works.(Heb.13:8).

Jesus before his ascension warned his disciples not to figure out the end time by their intellect. It was set under divine seal of Authority (Ac.1:7).
“And he (God) rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.”

Number Seven is not about week but the Day decreed for the Son in which days are counted in several multiples of seven. God’s promise to Israel was conditional. They were to observe His commandments with whole heart and soul and might.(*’ye shall do my statutes, and keep my judgments, and do them”.)
“And ye shall dwell in the land in safety./ And the land shall yield her fruit, and ye shall eat your fill, and dwell therein in safety.” Then Moses goes on to add, “And if ye shall say, What shall we eat the seventh year? behold, we shall not sow, nor gather in our increase./Then I will command my blessing upon you in the sixth year, and it shall bring forth fruit for three years.”(Le.25:18-21).

Significance of the number Three refers to the Son. When he said, ’My Father works hitherto and I also work’ explains the glory of the Word that the Spirit of Christ signifies. His work shall be done only when Christ Jesus announces, ‘It is done.’(Re.21:6)

Jubilee of God redeeming the earth would mark the inauguration of new heaven and the earth. (see under N- numbers command/jubilee). The rest we are exhorted to enter corresponds with the rest, which under the Law of Moses was for two years. (He.4:11). The land belongs to God in this age or in the one to come.(Le.25:23)
*Coming back to the word of God, ‘you shall keep my judgments’ in v.18 God exhorts them to keep His judgments as if Christ in them did. His will is perfect and reckons no Israel or Gentile nations in his Son. His Fellowship with Man allows no further distinctions.

Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days.”

Here the Angel of the Lord, the man in linen is referring Israel as the holy people. He raises both hands so emphasis is what is decreed in heaven both by God and the Word and it is not Daniel to know as we read in vv.9-13. So we have to look at the Ancient of days and Man as in the inaugural vision of the Book of the Revelation for answer. We shall come to that anon.

The man clothed in linen “and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and an half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.” The tag time, times and an half is regarding the holy family called out before the worlds began for which we have the night vision in the Book of Daniel. (7:13-14) The tag is associated with the Man component in the Fellowship of God with Man. Thus time signifies Israel, times represent both Israel and Gentile nations. And an half represents 144,000 from the left out church which steps in the breach since 12 tribes are no longer extant. (“Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.” Re.7:3). What we have in vv.4-7 are those who redeemed their calling to considered ‘the servants of our God’.)

Recap: The Spirit placed the tag 3, which is a Command number so the Son in heaven is Three. The Word become flesh is Four. 1260 refers to the earthly ministry of Jesus.
Daniel’s vision in Ch.12 gives us two sets of numbers. 1260+30 +1290 days. 3X10 determined outpouring of the Holy Spirit to the point of rapture, which concerns the first fruits, the church. Multiples of 10 gives us the abiding life in Christ so every saint redeemed from the earth is led by the Spirit. “For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.”(Ro.8:14)

second set 1335 is made up 1260+75

Here we have 50 that refers to the *Jubilie.

What does the Jubilee (5×10) signify? The land belongs to God and the glory of the land is in harmony with the glory of the Son as heir to all things.  With the jubilee year the land is to be left fallow. This rest signified rest that is promised to saints redeemed from earth. Before Jubilee year is proclaimed we have an interval which is given here. “And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God, and from his power; and no man was able to enter into the temple, till the seven plagues of the seven angels were fulfilled.”(Re.20:8)

The earth abides forever and New Jerusalem comes up free from any claim from with regards to their inheritance. New Jerusalem is for the heirs of promise.”

The Spirit has set the entire will of God and the fulfillment by Jesus Christ is in harmony of the narrative mode of the Spirit. He sets heaven, the earth and the lower parts in one which is illustrative ofthe last book serving as envoi or coda of the Core Will over this Salvation saga.

We are analyzing this chapter as determined in the Will so time is the constituted time set by the Spirit. Since the earthy ministry is obliquely stated the days mentioned in v.6 to reconcile his ministry in the flesh, in the spirit and as the Son set down on the right hand of the most High upholding all things by the word of his power. “And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.” (v.6) The flight of the woman into the wilderness’ is embedded in the history of Israel. We are to assume from this line, “and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered,”(v.2) include diverse events from the fiery furnace in Egypt (De.4:20) to the destruction of Jerusalem in AD 70 which are not germane to the narrative.

Secondly the line “where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her “(v.6) include the diaspora of Israel, state established in 1948, which is not by her own will but refers to the mercy of God. From vv.13-16 we see another calamity striking Israel and the left out church. “And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman.” (v.13)

Notice the time is stated differently? No more in days but with a tag first mentioned in the Book ofDaniel. (Dan.12:7;7:25).The saints in another wave have been gathered during the great silence in heaven.(Re.8:1) So we have, “And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.”(v.16)”

The 24 elders are memorial and represent the body in Trinity. Consider the role which the 12 Apostles created by the eternal Word plays in disseminating the Gospel of God on the earth. They occupy in heaven as associates, similar to the role the four beasts attests of Jesus Christ ‘the firstborn of every creation’. (Col.1:15). Their testimony is of the Gospel of God and it applies in heaven, in earth and in the lower parts. (3×8=24).
In heaven -“And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,”(Re.14:6)
2.On earth as associates of the Son of man. (Matt.10:40; Luke10:16) “Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus (He.3:1)”
3 In the lower parts. “For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:/By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison.”(1 Pe.3:18-19. Cf.Ec.11:2 “Give a portion to seven, and also to eight; for thou knowest not what evil shall be upon the earth.” Consequence of Jesus preaching in the lower parts has great consequence. Re.12 gives us a clear hint why. “And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood./ And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth. “(Re12:15-16).Fulness of Jesus covers even there. “The firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence./For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;”(Col.1:18-19,16)
