“Then I was by him, as one brought up with him: and I was daily his delight, rejoicing always before him;/Rejoicing in the habitable part of his earth; and my delights were with the sons of men(vv.30-31)”. This is annotation of the logos principle set forth in the Gospel of St John.

We shall pars this line:’Then I was by him, as one brought up with him’- In John we read thus:”In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” This is the Wisdom aspect which the Spirit has set down from the standpoint of God, the Son. Thus the Word with God, as one brought up with Power aspect. Logos aspect is the merging of Word into Man component in the oft-quoted Fellowship of God with Man. ‘Jesus christ the same yesterday, and today and forever(He.13:8).” Now let…

A cue is used in the same sense as stage directions written down in dramaturgy. The Holy Ghost the third office in Trinity has diverse cues that are all distributed through the body of the Scripture. Baptism by water for instance is a sacrament where the death is enacted in one world so one is alive in another.

The Israelites passing through sea and eating the same spiritual food gives us how a nation is bonded by shared experience. “They were all baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea(1 Co.10:2-NIV) They were baptized unto Moses. This is an event we read of the history of the nation of Israel. This explains the world of flesh. When Jesus came to the world he observed the same sacrament under the hands of John the Baptist. He was introducing the world of the Spirit and as the Son of Man…

Our body is compared to a tabernacle. The world of flesh furnishes a form and materials that keep the entity as one. What holds them in place however is the spirit. It is like the tree planted by the waters. From where the body finds nourishment brings also the world of the Spirit. Christian Living defines life of a Christian whose body is a house kept by Wisdom of the Word so Power of God allows him to be in ‘heavenly place. (Col.3:1-3). When we are joined to the Lord we ay as well as say with St Paul, “For we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, an eternal house in heaven, not built by human hands( 2 Co.5:1).

“For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s(1…

“And they asked him, What then? Art thou Elias? And he saith, I am not. Art thou that prophet? And he answered, No./ Then said they unto him, Who art thou? that we may give an answer to them that sent us. What sayest thou of thyself?”

When we speak of being foreknown it is the absolute certainty of Truth that settles the matter. It was certainly puzzling for the Psalmist. “My substance was not hid from thee!” he declares awed by the power of the Lord God,”and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them(Psalm 139:15-16). Flesh evidently cannot settle the matter since our memory prepares only for a short span which is blip in the eternal time. Our corruptible body is dissolved and all our glory like that of grass shall no longer knows…

“Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.(4:23).” Heart is the highway you establish by faith so we are in the presence of God and we are not merely asking to satisfy our lusts but according to His purpose. With all our heart and mind we seek Him.

It is the heavenly place to which Christian Living prepares you at a moment’s notice. What does that mean? The world and its blandishments are like a shroud which is not supported by truth. Satan the liar is the father of it, a Vanity Fair to make the fools a dupe. For whosoever keeps the heart and follows the way of life, troubles that come from adversary are like smoke. “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble./ Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though…

For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life:(v.23)”

Here we have a verse to give us an idea of how exceeding broad the way of life it is. What is life? St James compares it to vapor. “Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away(Jas.4:14).” This being the case life of man is hardly fit to measure it. St John points the life of Jesus and says,’ In him was life; and the life was the light of men.” So the only measure is Jesus Christ who is the true Light,’which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.(John1:9). Jesus Christ the same (He.13:8).

The Law which the everlasting covenant covers ages, people that…

Doth not wisdom cry? and understanding put forth her voice?

Truth is sound and has meaning, that is implied here. Voice of the Lord has its majesty. In the creation account we see how the Spirit of the Lord moved upon the waters. “The voice of the Lord is upon the waters: the God of glory thundereth: the Lord is upon many waters(Ps.29:3)”. When Jesus said ‘I am the truth’ it was what the Word who became flesh could say. “All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.” Truth gives a shape.

The earth was without form and void. How it acquires a shape is what understanding signifies. Every atom has heard it so there is no excuse. Thus two atoms of oxygen when come across one hydrogen atom it is water. The presence of the hydrogen isotope which is heavier shall give it altogether different physical…

“Give not sleep to thine eyes, nor slumber to thine eyelids./ Deliver thyself as a roe from the hand of the hunter, and as a bird from the hand of the fowler.”

A roe learns to run as soon as it is born. With so many predators about a calf although a new born knows the times and shall not do as man who is a sluggard to allow himself to be bamboozled by his adversary. Only say,’pursuit of happiness’ and see how he takes to it. Pandemic gave us some shining examples,’So shall thy poverty come as one that travelleth, and thy want as an armed man’. A sluggard shall sleep on so many waves of variants never mind where it come from. He has ceased to fight for truth.

There are two kinds of sleep: Foolishness is to sleep when utmost caution is vital. For your enemy…

Christian Living (with capital L) to indicate conclusiveness of living in the Land of the living. Our natural world is borne upon the shoulders of the world of Spirit. When we received Jesus Christ as our Lord Savior we are living in heavenly places. We consider our natural appetites the caul of our natural man offered to God as a burnt offering. What does ‘heavenly places’ mean? We are pilgrims and sojourners even as Abraham did trusting in the promises of God. “Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul(1 Pe.2:11).” We have a goal, the city that has foundations whose Maker is God.

Jesus as the way we have a path cut out for us. “Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your…

While we are meditating on the body parts of heart breasts we have another part that is used by the Spirit entirely for spiritual significance that we associate with Christ.

First of all faith is what required.”And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him(He.11:6). Righteousness by faith is what burnt sacrifice under Levitical priesthood enjoined. Jesus is the Way and as the following verse makes it clear,

“If his offering be a burnt sacrifice of the herd, let him offer a male without blemish: he shall offer it of his own voluntary will at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation before the Lord(Le.1:3)”.

First we shall lay down the text:

“And he shall offer thereof his offering, even an offering made by fire unto the Lord; the fat that…
