The Revelation-Re.19:9 “Blessed”

“And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb.” (v.9)

Jesus spoke a Parable concerning a marriage at the end of which we have this saying, “For many are called, but few are chosen.” Strangely enough it made the Pharisees raging mad that they ‘ took counsel how they might entangle him in his talk.”(Matt.22:2-15) Why should it upset them? The Parable of Jesus belonged to the true sayings of God so their heart convicted them of their hypocrisy. The wedding guest in the parable heard only one half of the story. He was called but he forgot what was required of him and the house rule. The Revelation-Re.19:6-9 “True Sayings of God”

“And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.” (v.9)

We came across the saying earlier, “And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth:”(14:13) We see the same voice from heaven here in v.9 as was heard in Ch.14. The same voice is the voice of the Lord of which in Psalm 29 we read, “The voice of the Lord maketh the hinds to calve, and discovereth the forests: and in his temple doth every one speak of his glory.”(Ps.29:9) Here we see the heart as a temple where every one speaks of his glory.
