The Psalmist also wondered about it and we have his thinking on it in these verses. “What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?/ For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour./ Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet(Ps.8:4-8)

The phrase ‘Thou has put all things under his feet’ clearly establishes of whom the Psalmist has in mind. It was by a decree that God established the everlasting covenant to which all subsequent laws are…

A tree’s growth rate changes in a predictable pattern throughout the year in response to seasonal climate changes, resulting in visible growth rings. Each ring marks a complete cycle of seasons, or one year, in the tree’s life.  Radiocarbon dating  requires a long rage to study the rate at which decay occurs and it is outside the scope of our discussion here. Overview 

“”If a man die, shall he live again? all the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come(v.14)”.

Here the Holy Spirit is setting a parable where the tree is a tag connecting the Garden of Eden to the Holy City of God under the new heaven and the earth. What was the Garden but a microcosm of the earth? “And the Lord God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.(Ge.2:14). When God set bounds for man it was the law and disobeying it was tantamount to a curse.”But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.(Ge.2:17)”.
