Providence of God is quintessence of His holiness. Faith comes by hearing the word of God(Ro.10:17). similarly knowing time is another quality so man who is prudent looks to time,’Now is the day of salvation is a moment which has its upper limit and it is eternal mind of God. Canst thou lift up thy voice to the clouds, that abundance of waters may cover thee?/ Canst thou send lightnings, that they may go and say unto thee, Here we are?

In the Age of internet we have a cyberspace and pulses of information ‘lightening’ and has it worked out a brave new world? One anonymous individual or group can bring down the security systems of a nation at the other end of the world, ‘Hacking of Colonial Pipeline as was reported in the new media shows the Achilles heel of the carnal wisdom. Wisdom of the inward parts here God talks is entirely another. “But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. (Jas.3:17). It is the wisdom from above.

Who hath put wisdom in the inward parts?…

“Hath the rain a father? or who hath begotten the drops of dew?/Out of whose womb came the ice? and the hoary frost of heaven, who hath gendered it? (vv.28-29)”

In the Parables of Jesus we have one about the householder. “He said to them, “Therefore every teacher of the law who has become a disciple in the kingdom of heaven is like the owner of a house who brings out of his storeroom new treasures as well as old.”(Matt.13:52-NIV)

The worlds of flesh and of the Spirit have treasures new as well as old. Analogy of snow, ice rain mentioned in Ch.38 are new treasures. What is the old? It is the Law a decree relating to the Son (Ps.2:7-8). See note under vv.24-27
