The Holy Spirit the third office is not speaking of parents in terms of blood line. God called out Abraham, at a time he had no knowledge of him. He was to separate himself from his father’s house. “Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,/And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.(2 Co.6:17-18)”.

Meditations- Proverbs 1:20 “wisdom”

“Wisdom crieth without; she uttereth her voice in the streets:(v.20)”

Here we are considering wisdom which is from above, qualities of which are diametrically opposite to carnal wisdom to which we shall come anon.

“Wisdom hath builded her house, she hath hewn out her seven pillars:(9:1)”

Before the worlds began Wisdom has built her house whose maker is God. Its seven pillars is a clue for us that the house rule of this eternal habitation is wisdom without which no fool ,wanting in understanding shall be allowed in. Wisdom has taken trouble to go out into the throng and cries,” How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? and the scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge?”(1:22)
