    Why must those who know him look in vain for such days?

Carnal wisdom would assert thus: Justice delayed is justice denied.” It is what man has cobbled up in order to assure his tenuous hold on property and wealth. His sense of justice is outraged so he has recourse to court of law. So the man sues his neighbor and fights him till it is restored to him. No one shall consider he was wrong to fight for his rights. This is wisdom which however does not go hand in hand with the wisdom from above.

Why, seeing times are not hidden from the Almighty, do they that know him not see his days?/Some remove the landmarks; they violently take away flocks, and feed thereof.

“They pluck the fatherless from the breast, and take a pledge of the poor./They cause him to go naked without clothing, and they take away the sheaf from the hungry.”

“They know not the light(vv.1-16).

Many have been puzzled at the way the wicked have prospered by their atrocious conduct and almost all suffer from one quality which is that they know not the light. They are therefore the children of light.
