Job 42:1-6 “Face to face”

Job’s ear of faith was tuned to God but there shall come as with every saint a day the veil of body, garment of clay as Job would say, shall no more stand in the way. What is faith but seal of God’s sovereignty ? So everyone who exercise faith shall have a good report from God as these verses make clear. “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen./ For by it the elders obtained a good report./Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear(He.11:1-3). Job 42: Parenthesis

Before we take up the last chapter in the Book of Job we need consider whey the Spirit made it necessary in the composition of Job as an allegory in the first place. All through Scripture the Salvation moves straightforward where the nations of Israel and the gentiles are alike are to be brought into the tabernacle of God among men the person specific on which it is not dilated upon. Job serves as a foil to the larger movements of nation and it is the role of the soul of man. Job 41:1-7 Crooked Serpent

The Spirit employs several narrative devices to assort people and events in relation of the heavenly realities. Thus we have considered under the law of Gradation children of light and children of wrath in relation to Jesus Christ; the wanderings of Israel in relation to Jerusalem as against our own case to new Jerusalem. Behemoth in literal sense denotes Hippopotamus and leviathan refers crocodile associated with the Nile. Both beasts are associated with pride and serves the Holy Spirit to set off spiritual wickedness in high places with realities of the earth.
